The Ho Chi Minh City Stroke Conference 2026 was held on August 15–16, 2026, at GEM Center, Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together nearly 800 physicians and healthcare experts from Vietnam and abroad. The conference featured leading speakers from the United States, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Thailand, and other countries, providing updates on emerging trends in stroke prevention, diagnosis, acute treatment, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
The scientific program covered key developments across the stroke care pathway, including intravenous thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, endovascular treatment, neurovascular intervention, secondary stroke prevention, neurorehabilitation, and optimization of clinical outcomes. Emerging topics such as robotic remote thrombectomy, artificial intelligence in acute stroke care, intra-arterial cell therapy, and novel approaches to neurological recovery were also discussed.
The conference also featured active participation from specialists of the Stroke Center and Neuroscience Center, Tam Anh General Hospital System, who chaired and moderated several key scientific sessions. Among them, Dr. Le Van Tuan, Dr. Chu Tan Si, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Duc joined national and international experts in discussions on advances in acute stroke management, cerebrovascular intervention, neurosurgery, recurrent stroke prevention, and treatment outcome optimization.
At this year’s conference, Big Leap Research participated as a Silver Sponsor and hosted an information booth dedicated to clinical research. The booth provided an opportunity to introduce healthcare professionals to clinical research activities, study implementation processes, and the roles of key stakeholders involved in conducting clinical studies.
